Liberty Professionals drew 1-1 with Stade Tunisien in Tunis on Friday to win 4-3 on aggregate and reach the third round of the Confederation Cup.The side from Ghana went ahead through Michael Helegbe on 60 minutes before Anis Boussaidi equalised from the penalty spot 11 minutes later.
But a 3-2 victory in the first leg was enough to ensure Liberty Professionals' progression.
Meanwhile, Moroccan side Royal Armed Forces are also through to the next round after knocking out Tunisia's Club Africain on the away goals rule.
After the first leg ended goalless, the teams drew 1-1 in Tunis.
Achraf Khalfaoui opened the scoring for the home side after 24 minutes, but Ali Abouab kept Royal Armed Forces in the competition with a key 86th-minute equaliser.
