Westerhof will now coach Bush Buck's youth side |
Former Nigeria manager Clemens Westerhof has lost his job as coach of South African Premier League side Umtata Bush Bucks. The Dutchman, who took Nigeria to the 1994 World Cup finals, is the fourth coach to be fired since the South African season began in August.
Westerhof has been replaced by the former Zimbabwe international William Mugeyi but will stay on at the newly-promoted club to run the youth academy.
Bush Bucks, with one win in seven matches, are second from bottom in the 16-team table.
Winning the 1994 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria, Westerhof has previously coached at two other South African clubs as well as working in Egypt and Zimbabwe.
