Rwanda are to offer their Serbian coach Ratomir Dujkovic a new deal |
Rwanda will offer their Serbian coach Ratomir Dujkovic a new deal. They will try and get the coach to sign a contract before they kick-off their 2006 World Cup and African Cup of Nations campaign.
The country's football federation president Celestin Musabyimana has said he expects details to be finalised before their opening game against Nigeria on 5 June.
Dujkovic led the Amavubi to this year's African Cup of Nations finals in Tunisia where they failed to get past the group stages.
The 58-year-old, whose two-year deal ends next month, was one of three nominees for Caf's Coach of the Year award in April.
While Dujkovic missed out on that title, the Rwandan team picked up the Most Impressive Achiever of the Year award.
Rwanda also face Algeria, Angola, Gabon and Zimbabwe in Group 4 of the 2006 World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
