Nigeria coach Christian Chukwu has named a squad of 22 locally-based players for the four-team LG Cup.
The two day tournament kicks off on Wednesday in Lagos and includes teams from Senegal, Libya and Jordan.
The competition gets underway with a game between a Senegal under-23 team and Libya while defending champions Nigeria take on Jordan.
Senegal are sending a junior squad since their senior squad are involved in a friendly match in French first division side Guingamp in France.
The winners of Wednesday's games will face each other in the final on Friday in Lagos, with the losers also playing each other on the same day.
The Nigeria Football Association see the four-nation tournament as part of the Super Eagles preparations for the 2006 World Cup and Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Nigeria starts its Group 4 campaign at home to Rwanda on 5 June.
