Zimbabwe's 22-man Nations Cup squad includes 10 players from the country's domestic league.
Coach Sunday Marimo has included five Europe-based, while the remaining seven play their club football in South Africa.
One key name not on the list is France-based striker Benjani Mwaruwari, who is recovering from a groin operation.
However there are places for 34-year-old striker Wilfred Mugeyi and midfielder Alois Bunjira, both of whom last played for the Warriors in 2001.
Besides Mugeyi, other veteran strikers Agent Sawu, Peter Ndlovu and his brother Adam will make the trip to Tunisia
Peter Ndlovu, who is yet to join up with the team, will captain the side, and Kaitano Tembo will continue in his role of vice-captain.
The news of the final 22 was announced by team manager Rafiq Adam during a 90-minute live broadcast on national television and radio.
The Warriors daunting campaign in Group C begins with a game against Egypt on 25 January followed by matches with Cameroon and Algeria.
