Burkina Faso pick team
The Stallions, Burkina Faso's national team
European-based players dominate Burkina Faso's Nations Cup squad
Burkina Faso have included injured Abdoulaye Cisse in a 22-man squad for the African Cup of Nations finals.

Coach Jean-Paul Rabier is confident that the striker will recover in time for their first match in the tournament.

Rabier named 15 European-based players and seven from the domestic league in his final selection.

Cisse missed the team's training camp in France while having treatment at his French club Montpellier, but Rabier said he hoped the player would be ready for the final warm-up matches at the weekend, just before the squad departs for Tunisia.

Injuries have ruled out Mamadou Zongo from Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem and the German-based striker Wilfred Sanou.

Burkina Faso begin their Cup of Nations campaign against Senegal in Tunis on 26 January.

They will also meet Kenya's Harambee Stars and Mali's Eagles in group B.
