Angola missed out on the Nations Cup |
Angola manager Ishmael Kurtz has picked a 19-man squad for their 7 September friendly against Ghana in Luanda. But the Palancas Negras will be without players from Angolan champions Aviacao, who are involved in the Champions League.
The Brazilian-born coach invited five foreign-based players, including Gilberto, who plays for Egyptian side Al Ahly.
Kurtz is using the game to prepare the national side for a 2006 Nations Cup/World Cup qualifying game against Chad in October.
Angola and Ghana both failed to qualify for next year's Nations Cup finals in Tunisia.
