USMA are through to the last four |
USMA of Algeria have qualified for the African Champions League semi-finals with a 2-0 victory over AS Aviacao of Angola in Group B. USMA join group leaders Esperance of Tunisia in the last four thanks to first half goals from Abed Benchergui in the 31st minute and an own goal from Lukata Shuma two minutes before half time.
The win guarantees the Algerians a minimum of $450,000 in prize money.
Egypt's Ismailia will also make the last four if they beat struggling Asec Mimosas in Cairo.
The final spot in Africa's top club competition would go to Nigeria's Enyimba if they snatch an away point against surprise package Simba of Tanzania on Sunday.
