Benin striker Oumar Tchomogo has signed a three-year contract with French first division side Guingamp. The 25 year-old comes from second division Valence, where he scored nine goals last season.
With the departure of Ivorian Didier Drogba to Marseille and Algerian Hakim Saci to Metz, Tchomogo is expected to play a key role in Guincamp's attack.
He is expected to appear in their weekend match at Strasbourg.
Tchomogo, who has 27 caps for the national side, will be at next year's African Nations Cup final in Tunisia.
Benin's Scorpions will be making their debut at Africa's premier football event.
