Asec Mimosas beat arch-rivals Africa Sports in a penalty shoot-out to lift the Ivorian Cup on Sunday. The match ended 1-1 at full time.
Claiming their 13th Cup title, Asec have equalled Africa Sports number of victories in the competition.
Africa opened scoring in the 30th minute, with Donatien Kouadio converting a penalty.
Asec equalised in similar fashion after Romaric Ndri was fouled by an Africa defender.
Tia Mabea make no mistake from the spot and put his team level before the interval.
Asec remain in contention to retain the Ivorian championship, as they commence their group A African Champions league campaign with a home tie against Egypt's Ismailia at the weekend.
