Kenya are now only a point ahead in Group 5

Two goals from Faria Alexandro shook up Group 5, as Togo's Hawks beat Kenya in a game marred by controversial refereeing decisions.

The result was the first defeat for Kenya in the group, who would have qualified for Tunisia had they won.

Alexandro's first, on 22 minutes, was a sublime free kick.

He struck the ball with swerve and venom from outside of the penalty area, leaving Kenya's keeper with no chance.

His second, on 57 minutes, was another set-piece - but this time much more controversial.

As Togo broke forward, one of their strikers tumbled in the penalty area, although there seemed to be minimal contact with the defender.

The referee gave the penalty and Alexandro dispatched it with clinical accuracy.

Kenya's attack sparkled in the first few minutes, but the shock of conceding their first goal in qualifying clearly affected them.

And after Alexandro's second, there seemed to be little chance of a comeback.

The Harambee Stars are still clear favourites, having the task of beating minnows Cape Verde to earn a Nations Cup ticket.
