Kraouche opened the scoring for Algeria |
A goal by Nacereddine Kraouche has put Algeria in next year's Nations Cup tournament in Tunisia. The Ghent striker headed in the fifth minute from a cross by right full-back Daoud Bouabdellah.
Algeria now join Senegal as the second team through to the Nations Cup.
It will be the Desert Warriors' fifth straight qualification for the competition.
Ironically, they missed their last Nations Cup in 1994 when it was staged in Tunisia.
But Algeria were far from convincing against Namibia.
Bouabdellah was the man of the match, as several of his good crosses were wasted by the frontline forwards.
In the second-half, the home fans booed their own players when they fail to pass the ball.
But the result was all that Algeria needed to go through and their final match against Chad next month is now academic.
