An late, late goal from Ahmed Masli gave Libya all three points against Botswana. Masli popped up in the 89th minute, just as a desperately dull game was seemingly drawing towards a stalemate.
The result means Libya are now - at least temporarily - top of Group 9.
But the group remains far too close to call, with Swaziland and DR Congo set to play tomorrow - a win for either would see them overtake the Libyans.
