Senegal's World Cup hero Henri Camara scored a hat-trick as his struggling side Sedan defeated Troyes 4-0.

Camara has now scored 13 goals, placing him fourth in the Championnat scoring lists.

Ahead of him - as second-top scorer in the league - is Shabani Nonda of DR Congo, who got his 19th of the season after scoring in Monaco's 2-0 win over Strasbourg.

Nonda's goal keeps his club at the top of the table.

Spain

The Egyptian flag was flying high in Spain more than ever before as striker Ahmed Hossam Mido's two goals gave Celta a 2-0 win over Osasuna.

The goals enhanced Mido's chances of securing a permanent deal with Celta after leaving Dutch giants Ajax on loan after a fall-out with coach Ronald Koeman.

Meanwhile Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o Fils scored the equaliser for Mallorca as they tied 1-1 at Villareal.

Belgium

Sierra Leonean Paul Kpaka scored a double as his side Beerschot crushed Mouscron 6-1.

In the same game, Ghanaian Kwame Quansah netted the last goal six minutes to the final whistle.

Ivorian Aruna Dindane scored the second goal for Ajax as they defeated St Truidense 2-0, but his Ivorian counterpart Arsene Ne, who plays for Beveren, was sent off as his side lost 2-0 to Standard Liege.

And two Africans were on target in the five-goal encounter between Gent and La Louviere.

Togolese international Djima Oyawole scored for Gent, who took a 3-0 lead before the Nigerian striker Mannaseh Ishiaku pulled two goals back for La Louviere in either half, including one from the penalty spot.

Tosin Dosumnu, another Nigerian, was part of the Westerlo party as his side beat Mechelen 4-0.

Holland

An early goal by the Gambian Jattoo Ceesay helped Willem II to a 3-0 win over bottom side De Graafshap.

Moroccan international Said Boutahar gave second from bottom Excelsior all three points as his 67th minute goal was enough for his side's win against Heerenveen.

Moroccan Nourdin Boukhari scored the last goal for Ajax as they beat Roda JC 4-2.

Germany

Beninois Moussa Latoundji made a rare appearance on the scoresheet this season with a goal for relegation bound side Energie Cottbus who drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach.

And Ghanaian born German international Gerald Asamoah was involved in the 3-1 win for Schalke over Bayer Leverkusen.

Turkey

Riadh Bouazizi of Tunisia scored in Gaziantepspor's 3-0 win over Kocaelispor.

Portugal

Senegalese striker Fary Faye scored a double as his side Beira Mar drew 2-2 with Braga.

Italy

It was another Senegalese Diomansy Kamara was on target for Modena as they beat Bologna 3-2.

Greece

Nigerian born polish international Emmanuel Olisadebe who scored one of the goals for league leaders Panathinaikos who defeated Kallithea 3-1.
