Khalilou Fadiga will play both games |
Senegal's Nations Cup qualifier against Lesotho will now be played on 14 June.
Senegal's football federation persuaded the Confederation of African Football (Caf)to bring the game forward from the previous date of 21 June.
This means the Lions of Teranga will play home qualifiers against the Gambia on 7 June and then Lesotho a week later.
Lesotho have agreed to the switch, designed to allow Senegal's overseas based players go on holiday after a long season in Europe.
The overseas based players have had a hectic season, as they had little time to rest after the 2002 World Cup finals.
Coach Guy Stephan named a squad of 21 for the two matches, which includes recovered defender Omar Daf and striker Khalilou Fadiga.
If Senegal beat the Gambia, they will need just a point from their last match against Lesotho to qualify for Tunisia 2004.
