Nigerian international striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni maintains his goalscoring streak for Portsmouth in the English First Division.

He scored two goals for Portsmouth in their 5-0 thrashing of Millwall on Saturday.

The Nigerian, who is on loan until the end of the season from Isreali club Maccabi Haifa, takes his goals tally to five in six appearances.

Aiyegbeni opened scoring after 14 minutes, following good work on the right by Kevin Harper.

He collected the ball on the left of the penalty area and slotted it past Tony Warner.

Ten minutes later, Bulgarian Svetoslav Todorov beat two defenders and squared the ball for Aiyegbeni to net his second.

'Pompey,' as Portsmouth are nicknamed, are on course for a place in next season's Premiership campaign, as they lead the First Division with 73 points.
