In his first major decision as the new coach of the Leone Stars, Jose Antonio Nogueira has selected a squad of 28 home-based players for the Nations Cup qualifier against Morocco in March.
Training has already begun at the Freetown National Stadium.
Nogueira told BBC Sport that he was going to concentrate on the home-based players and he would invite overseas stars to fill the weaker positions.
The Brazilian coach took over in January and has asked the Sierra Leone FA to organise some tough friendlies before the match in Freetown on 29 March.
