Andy Carroll says he can justify the money Liverpool spent to bring him to Anfield, making the striker the most expensive British player of all time, and says he is not fazed about replacing Fernando Torres.

Carroll was sat alongside Reds manager Kenny Dalglish and fellow new signing Luis Suarez at their official unveiling and Suarez said it was a "dream debut" for him after scoring in the 2-0 win over Stoke on Wednesday night.
