Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he is happy with Wayne Rooney's display in his first pre-season action, but admits the England striker still needs to work on his fitness ahead of the new season. Ferguson saw his side defeat a League of Ireland XI 7-1 in a friendly on Wednesday.
