GOALFLASHES AND MAJOR INCIDENTS (all times GMT)

606: DEBATE

To get involved use 606 or text us your views & comments on 81111. (Not all contributions can be used)

By Jonathan Stevenson

2219: That's a wrap for this week, then. Join Bevo on Saturday for a Premier League/FA Cup/Football League extravaganza - though Saturday's just a warm-up for Sunday. I'll await your missives with interest from the capital of Catalonia. Adios.

2214: By the way, don't forget that on Sunday, we'll be covering El Clasico as Barcelona take on Real Madrid in the biggest club football match on Earth. Chris Bevan will be doing text commentary straight after Arsenal v Chelsea, and I'll be in Barcelona to cover the game, so get involved with me on Twitter while I'm there. Got a couple of preview pieces going up in the next couple of days to whet your appetite, too.

2211: People are asking why Hull-Everton and Fulham-Blackburn were played today. I presume it's because there's a Premier League fixture list in a couple of weeks when they're in Europa League action.

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson: "At the moment Erik Nevland is not a back-up for us. He's becoming of vital importance, but I think he's been that important for the two years I've been at the club because he can score such important goals at times."

2006: Unbelievably, 15 of the teams participating in this week's Champions League action failed to score. I don't know about you, but I find that remarkable. It equals a record set in September 2004 and September 2006.

From TJ, Leeds, via text on 81111: "I am not a Hull fan but after all the talk of sacking Phil Brown in October, now with seven points from three games this month if he can get a result at Man City he will be in with a shout for manager of the month."

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti: "To win the group was the most important thing and we have reached our objective. To win here is not easy, but we got a good result and we're happy. The Champions League is our aim this season, yes, and now we can look to do things in the Premier League, starting with Arsenal on Sunday."

Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson on the decision not to award Patrice Evra a penalty: "It is a penalty kick. That is two games in a row we have had stonewall penalties in European football. It isn't in the spirit of the game but what can you do about it? You just have to get on with it."

2155: The other full-times in Europe tonight: AC Milan 1-1 Marseille; Apoel 1-1 Atletico; Bayern 1-0 Maccabi; Bordeaux 2-0 Juventus; CSKA 2-1 Wolfsburg; Real Madrid 1-0 FC Zurich.

2152: Full-time Fulham 3-0 Blackburn

From King_Lamps on 606: "Again we ground out a result in the Champions League. Our form is not good in this competition. I see us being drawn against one of the Milan teams in the knockout stage."

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Fulham goal: Rovers have fallen apart, that was all too easy. John Pantsil plays Simon Davies into acres of space down the right and his cross finds Clint Dempsey at the near post - he takes a touch, shrugs off a weak challenge and slots past Paul Robinson. I hope Big Sam isn't watching.

2147: GOAL Fulham 3-0 Blackburn

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Old Trafford: "Goalkeeper Rustu showed he still possesses some of the old magic to deny Manchester United in stoppage time and give Besiktas a famous victory. Only damage to United's pride at the end of that long unbeaten home record in the Champions League. Most promising newcomer? Gabriel Obertan. Flash but plenty of promise."

2143: More Euro Macca: "Looks like the second qualifying place in Group A is going to come down to a mouth-waterer in Italy on 8 December as Marouane Chamakh makes it 2-0 for Bordeaux at home to Juve. Bayern Munich have won 1-0 so they look like closing the gap to second place to just a point."

2141: That was United's first home defeat in the Champions League group stages since 2001, when Deportivo did for them, and their first home defeat in the competition at all since February 2005, when Hernan Crespo scored the winner for AC Milan.

2139: Full-time Manchester United 0-1 Besiktas

2137: It looks like United have to score, not once, but twice, and twice Rustu makes spellbinding saves, firstly to deny Federico Macheda's header and then Wes Brown's nodded effort from the ensuing corner. Two magnificent stops.

2136: Full-time Hull City 3-2 Everton

2135: Leighton Baines' free-kick hits the Hull wall. What an anti-climax.

2135: Full-time FC Porto 0-1 Chelsea

2134: They are into injury time at the KC Stadium, too: Hull 3-2 Everton. Free-kick on the edge of the Hull area...

2132: Manchester United are minutes away from losing their 23-match unbeaten home run in the Champions League.

2130: Sir Alex Ferguson is left fuming on the sidelines after a big penalty shout as Patrice Evra goes down in the box under a firm challenge from a Besiktas defender. Difficult call but there looked a bit of doubt in it.

From JamieCutteridge on Twitter: "Did you just predict the future?"
At 2124? Yeah, I think inadvertently I might have. Crikey.

2128: What a miss. Blackburn have gone missing and Clint Dempsey knocks the ball through to Erik Nevland, who, with the goal gaping, slots wide. Astonishing miss.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Fulham goal: That might be that at the Cottage. Damien Duff picks the ball up on the right, cuts inside and his low cross-cum-shot is deflected into the path of Clint Dempsey, who knocks into the Blackburn net from six yards.

2125: GOAL Fulham 2-0 Blackburn

2124: Benni McCarthy and Nicola Kalinic come on for Blackburn, with Rovers 2-0 down at Fulham.

2123: Everton are knocking on the Hull door as they seek the goal that would complete a stunning fightback at the KC Stadium, but the hosts eventually clear their lines. In Portugal, Hulk's 18-yard shot is saved by Petr Cech.

2121: Chelsea are still leading FC Porto 1-0, a result which would secure top spot in their group. About 10 minutes left plus stoppages. Nicolas Anelka's goal separates the teams.

From Ian at Old Trafford, via text on 81111: "Obertan really impressive. Only United player having a good game."

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Old Trafford: "Besiktas have rarely been out of their own half after the break, but Manchester United are hardly subjecting the veteran keeper Rustu to a barrage. Sir Alex Ferguson has sent on Michael Owen in place of Ji-Sung Park in an attempt to give all their possession and supremacy an end product."

2118: Fulham are playing much better in the second half, presumably buoyed by their goal just before the break. Chris Baird has forced Paul Robinson into a save in the Blackburn goal. 1-0 to the Cottagers.

2117: Tim Cahill lets rip from 25 yards for Everton but it's just a few yards too high.

2116: Michael Owen, Michael Carrick and Patrice Evra have all come on for Manchester United in the last couple of minutes. They still trail Besiktas 1-0.

2114: Paul McShane and Tim Cahill get involved in some afters at the KC Stadium. I won't whack out the handbags graphic, though, as they shake hands in the middle of the pitch.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Chelsea goal: Chelsea have improved in the second half and their best player of the game puts them in front. Yuri Zhirkov tees up Florent Malouda down the left and his sweet cross is headed in by a diving Nicolas Anelka four yards out.

2111: GOAL FC Porto 0-1 Chelsea

2111: Warning for Barcelona ahead of El Clasico on Sunday: Cristiano Ronaldo has just come on for Real Madrid.

2110: Euro Macca's in the goals too now: "Goals alert [told you]. More crucial ones as well as Sabrosa Simao levels for Atletico and they're back in pole position (just) for the Europa League spot in Group D. More crucially is Ivica Olic's goal in Munich, where four-time winners Bayern lead 1-0. If things stay the same they will go to Juve for the final game just a point behind."

2109: Richard Garcia tries to restore Hull's two-goal advantage, but his fierce drive is parried away by Tim Howard. You can't take your eyes off this one.

2107: A probing run and shot from United's best performer Gabriel Obertan, but his effort is well saved by Rustu. The French forward then goes close with a header which is just over.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Everton goal: This. This is why we love football. Right here. 3-0 up and cruising 20 minutes ago, and now 3-2. Tim Cahill's lofted ball into the Hull box is chested down by Louis Saha and just as the Frenchman is about to shoot, the hapless Kamil Zayatte pulls him down. Saha picks himself up and coolly slots home. GAME. ON.

2106: GOAL Hull City 3-2 Everton

2105: PENALTY TO EVERTON

2104: Back under way at Craven Cottage.

2102: Euro Macca's back: "Thank heavens, we have a goal in Europe. I was beginning to wonder if they were still allowed. It's a crucial one as well as Bordeaux have taken the lead at home to Juve through Fernando Menegazzo. It's a potential lifeline for Bayern, who need some help if they're going to make it through to the next phase."

2101: Jack Rodwell is taken off and Jo comes on for Everton. Have they got another two goals in them at Hull?

2059: Park slams a left-foot shot wide from 15 yards after a good break from Darron Gibson. Manchester United are still looking for a way back into the game at Old Trafford as they trail Besiktas 1-0.

From Toon4Europe on 606: "Prepare for the greatest Merseyside comeback since 2005..."

2054: Better. The hard-working Nicolas Anelka's cross from the right is headed to the edge of the Porto box and Deco takes a touch before rifling just wide with his right foot.

2053: Didier Drogba fires a free-kick into the Porto wall. Liven up in Portugal.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Everton goal: Among the silliest own goals you'll see. Johnny Heitinga whips over a inswinging cross from the left and Kamil Zayatte inexplicably swings his right foot at the ball, getting an outside edge and sending it spinning over Matt Duke and into the corner of the Hull net. Crazy.

2051: GOAL Hull City 3-1 Everton

2049: And we've kicked off in the second half at Old Trafford too, where it's Man Utd 0-1 Besiktas.

2047: Half-time Fulham 1-0 Blackburn

2047: Back under way at FC Porto, too. Give us a goal.

2047: Everton bring Dan Gosling on for Yakubu at the break. They're back under way. 3-0 down at Hull. Um...

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Fulham goal: They don't deserve it, but will they care? Erik Nevland leads the counter-attack and after getting it back from Damien Duff, he slips a shot underneath Paul Robinson, who possibly should have done better.

2044: GOAL Fulham 1-0 Blackburn

2043: Oooh. Jason Roberts bundles his big frame into some space inside the Fulham box and curls a left-foot shot wide.

2042: Europe, hang your collective head in shame once more. These are the other half-times: Apoel 1-0 Atletico; Bayern 0-0 Maccabi; Bordeaux 0-0 Juventus; Real Madrid 1-0 FC Zurich.

From emmetmcevoy on Twitter: "Kids? Gary Neville is 34, Nemanja Vidic is 28, Wes Brown is 30, Park is 28. If they're kids then Cesc Fabregas is a toddler. Get real!"

From Peter Hayes, via text on 81111: "I demand a recount on the Hull City scoreline."

2033: Nothing happening to warm the fans up at Craven Cottage so far, hugely disappointing fare.

2032: Half-time Manchester United 0-1 Besiktas

2032: Half-time Hull City 3-0 Everton

2031: Half-time FC Porto 0-0 Chelsea

2030: Um, the goals seem to have dried up. Sorry.

Someone has struck the woodwork
2028: Rodrigo Tello plays the ball in, it is laid off and Michael Fink side-foots against the outside of Ben Foster's left-hand post. Lovely stuff from Besiktas.

2025: When Sir Alex Ferguson told his kids to shoot for the stars tonight, he didn't mean literally. Darron Gibson's 30-yarder flies miles over 'Row Z'.

2024: I wonder how they're feeling in the Allianz Arena right now. Bayern are being held 0-0 by Maccabi Haifa - anything less than a win, and the German giants are out.

From gouldie7 on 606: "Stevo - you've not mentioned that Man Utd's kids are by far the better team, despite the scoreline."
Job done

2019: Nice interplay between Manchester United's youngsters which leads to Gabriel Obertan having a great chance to equalise, but his close-range shot from an angle is straight at Rustu. Should have scored.

2019: The only way Chelsea can stop Fernando Belluschi is to foul him, as John Terry does mercilessly on that occasion.

BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty: "Looks more and more like Everton's hopes of a ground move lie in tatters. No Destination Kirkby and a serious dilemma for the Everton hierarchy as another bid to leave Goodison Park ends in failure. Knowsley North and Sefton East MP George Howarth is being quoted on Merseyside as saying: 'I deeply regret this decision in a time of significant economic challenge to the whole of Merseyside during a recession.'"

Someone has struck the woodwork
2015: Fernando Belluschi is having a stormer in the Dragao and he runs at the Chelsea defence before beating Petr Cech with a sizzling 25-yarder that crashes back off the crossbar.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Hull goal: Jimmy Bullard is dancing on the touchline - what a decision to rest him this might be. Stephen Hunt's cross from the Hull right is deflected into the path of Dean Marney, and his left-foot shot hits Tim Cahill before nestling into the corner of Tim Howard's net.

2012: GOAL Hull City 3-0 Everton

2011: Blackburn's Franco di Santo was foiled by Mark Schwarzer at the start of the game at Fulham, but since then there's been very little to speak of.

2009: AC Milan's lead lasts just six minutes as Marseille get an equaliser through Lucho Gonzalez, who grabs his 10th goal in the competition. In Madrid, Real go ahead against FC Zurich as Kaka twists and slips the ball through to Gonzalo Higuain, who strokes it past Johnny Leoni.

2008: Chelsea might have dominated the opening stages, but they have Petr Cech to thank for the fact they remain level. First Fernando Belluschi has the keeper at full stretch with a stinger from range and then Cech has to bounce up quickly to save from Silvestre Varela's follow-up. That's the closest either side has come to an opener.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Besiktas goal: A crossfield ball from the Turks finds Rodrigo Tello just outside the United area to the right and he curls in a left-foot shot that takes a crucial deflection off Rafael and leaves Ben Foster diving in vain as the ball sneaks in at the far post. Not what the keeper needed tonight.

2007: GOAL Manchester United 0-1 Besiktas

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Hull goal: Everton are not happy with the award of a free-kick on the edge of their area and they are punished again when Andy Dawson curls a magnificent set-piece into the top left-hand corner of Tim Howard's net.

2005: GOAL Hull City 2-0 Everton

2002: Euro Macca: "Apoel Nicosia go in front against Atletico Madrid through Nenad Mirosavljevic's fifth minute goal. He becomes the first Apoel player to notch in the Champs League. Neither club can make the knockout stages but there is still that all-important Europa League place up for grabs. Meanwhile in Milan, AC take a early 1-0 lead over Marseille thanks to Marco Borriello. That would seal their last 16 berth."

2001: They are under way at Craven Cottage too now. Join in the fun.

2000: Nicolas Anelka is the only man trying to liven up proceedings in Portugal as he spanks in another from distance that swerves a bit and forces Beto to parry away uncomfortably.

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Old Trafford: "Not long before the first chants of 'Are You Watching Merseyside?' ring around Old Trafford after Liverpool's Champions League exit last night. Suspect we might get a bit more of that as the night goes on."

1956: Michael Fink shoots straight at Ben Foster from 25 yards as Besiktas go forward at Old Trafford.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Hull goal: Might not be a good few minutes for Everton chairman Bill Kenwright. A Stephen Hunt cross is deflected into the air and the Toffees defenders fail to deal with it as Jozy Altidore shoots at Tim Howard and then Hunt is on hand to lash home the rebound.

1954: GOAL Hull City 1-0 Everton

1954: Park's shot from 25 yards forces an awkward low save from Rustu at Old Trafford.

BBC Sport's chief football writer Phil McNulty: "Everton are making no comment at all on reports that their proposed ground move to Kirkby has been rejected. A bitter blow for chairman Bill Kenwright if true though."

1950: Nicolas Anelka cuts in from the left in Portugal and slams a 30-yard shot miles wide. It was in this stadium last season that Cristiano Ronaldo scored his quite astonishing 40-yarder to seal a Champions League semi-final spot for Manchester United.

1948: I feel a goal-filled night coming on. Do you trust me?

1945: Match by match, we're getting under way. Apart from at Craven Cottage, where Fulham v Blackburn kicks-off at 2000 GMT.

1943: The teams are coming out across Europe for another Champions League night. The anthem, an adaptation of Handel's "Zadok the Priest", gets the juices flowing.

From Mike from Liverpool, via text on 81111: "Just heard Everton's move to Kirkby has been rejected by the government. Sure this will please many a Blue!"
We're checking this out guys, we can't confirm it 100% yet

1938: Fulham make three changes from the team who lost at Birmingham last weekend with Stephen Kelly, Zoltan Gera and Simon Davies left out, and John Pantsil, Damian Duff and Erik Nevland coming in. Their opponents Blackburn replace the injured Gael Givet with Lars Jacobsen, while Keith Andrews and Vince Grella are also picked ahead of Brett Emerton and Steven Nzonzi.

1935: And Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti also ignores talk of a dead rubber: "It is important not only for first place, but because we will play against a strong team. We want to arrive at first place in the group - we want to win, I don't know any other way."

1933: Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson won't let us down tonight: "We could have a non-event game if we wanted to. But that is not the way we want it to be. We want an exciting game and we will do our best to challenge the young players who do play."

From mikeyallen5 on Twitter: "Why would Hull drop Bullard? A player arguably far too good to be at the club. What do Hull fans make of this?"
Surely not dropped? Surely just needs a rest after a long lay-off?

1927: Fulham v Blackburn line-ups:
Fulham:
Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Dempsey, Greening, Baird, Duff, Zamora, Nevland.
Subs: Zuberbuhler, Seol, Gera, Etuhu, Smalling, Davies, Dikgacoi.
Blackburn: Robinson, Jacobsen, Samba, Nelsen, Chimbonda, Andrews, Dunn, Grella, Diouf, Di Santo, Roberts.
Subs: Brown, McCarthy, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Kalinic, Hoilett, Salgado.
Referee: Stuart Attwell (Warwickshire)

1923: Hull City make three changes from the 3-3 draw with West Ham. Defender Paul McShane, midfielder George Boateng and forward Geovanni come in for Bernard Mendy, Jimmy Bullard and Craig Fagan. Everton boss David Moyes brings in midfielder Steven Pienaar, who has been out for two months with a knee injury, and striker Yakubu as Dan Gosling and Marouane Fellaini make way.

1921: Big night for Ben Foster, who recently claimed he was 'disheartened' by a lack of first-team football at Manchester United. Fergie was linked with a move for CSKA's Igor Akinfeev, but in his programme notes tonight he says: "I told you to watch out for him (Akinfeev) and he was fantastic as I expected. But don't go rushing to conclusions, we are not trying to sign him."

1918: It's all over in Russia as a Milos Krasic-inspired CSKA Moscow beat Wolfsburg 2-1. That means second place in Group B is very much up for grabs going into the final round of matches.

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Old Trafford: "Lively at Old Trafford - thanks to a gloriously partisan and noisy group of Besiktas supporters tucked away in a corner. Time for experiments from Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson with a place in the last 16 of the Champions League already sealed. And a great chance for some of Old Trafford's young brigade to create a good impression. Gabriel Obertan is one who will be under Sir Alex's microscope and the same applies to Federico Macheda, Danny Welbeck, Rafael da Silva and Darron Gibson. And Ben Foster gets a taste of the first-team action he craves."

1915: Hull v Everton line-ups:
Hull:
Duke, McShane, Gardner, Zayatte, Dawson, Garcia, Marney, Boateng, Hunt, Geovanni, Altidore.
Subs: Myhill, Barmby, Kilbane, Mouyokolo, Ghilas, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Cairney.
Everton: Howard, Neill, Yobo, Distin, Baines, Cahill, Rodwell, Heitinga, Pienaar, Saha, Yakubu.
Subs: Nash, Hibbert, Jo, Gosling, Coleman, Duffy, Baxter.
Referee: Martin Atkinson (W Yorkshire)

From swpisrooneyquickfix on 606: "Obertan looks incredibly talented in youtube short sequences, although that proves nothing. I'm really wondering whether he'll follow Ronaldo's path or Nani's..."

1911: Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti recalls striker Didier Drogba as one of six changes for the Blues' Champions League Group D clash with Porto following his recovery from a chest injury. Yuri Zhirkov and Michael Ballack are among the other players to come in, with Michael Essien, Joe Cole and Ashley Cole on the bench. Porto leave Brazilian striker Hulk on the bench, while experienced keeper Helton has failed a fitness test on an injured ankle, meaning Beto continues in goal.

1910: FC Porto v Chelsea line-ups:
FC Porto:
Beto, Sapunaru, Rolando, Bruno Alves, Pereira, Belluschi, Fernando, Raul Meireles, Varela, Falcao, Rodriguez.
Subs: Nuno, Guarin, Valeri, Hulk, Maicon, Farias, Costa.
Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Carvalho, Terry, Zhirkov, Mikel, Ballack, Malouda, Deco, Anelka, Drogba.
Subs: Turnbull, Ashley Cole, Essien, Joe Cole, Kalou, Alex, Belletti.
Referee: Jonas Eriksson (Sweden)

1906: Moving slightly up the division we head to Craven Cottage, where 12th entertain 11th as Fulham and Blackburn meet up. Rovers boss Sam Allardyce will once more be absent as he prepares for his angioplasty later in the week, with assistant manager Neil McDonald revealing Mrs Allardyce had to steal her husband's phone during the 2-0 victory away at Bolton at the weekend.

1903: Manchester United make eight changes to the team which beat Everton on Saturday. Gabriel Obertan makes his first European start in a youthful but attacking line-up which sees Danny Welbeck and Federico Macheda also feature. Dimitar Berbatov has not made the squad while Ben Foster replaces Edwin van der Sar in goal.

1900: Stevo's Predos (four right results last time, no correct scores - least surprising stat ever?):
AC Milan 2-1 Marseille
Apoel Nicosia 1-2 Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich 2-0 Maccabi Haifa
Bordeaux 1-1 Juventus
CSKA Moscow 1-2 Wolfsburg (yes, I know)
FC Porto 1-1 Chelsea
Man Utd 3-1 Besiktas
Real Madrid 3-1 FC Zurich
Fulham 2-1 Blackburn
Hull City 1-2 Everton

1858: Cristiano Ronaldo is on the bench for Real Madrid at home to FC Zurich tonight.

1857: Manchester United v Besiktas line-ups:
Man Utd:
Foster, Neville, Vidic, Brown, Rafael Da Silva, Obertan, Gibson, Anderson, Park, Macheda, Welbeck.
Subs: Kuszczak, Evra, Owen, Carrick, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher.
Besiktas: Recber, Kas, Ferrari, Toraman, Uzulmez, Fink, Ernst, Dag, Tello, Koybasi, Bobo.
Subs: Celikay, Karadeniz, Rodrigo Tabata, Inceman, Yusuf Simsek, Guven, Zengin.
Referee: Stephane Lannoy (France)

1855: Let's not forget the Premier League, though. It's 16th v 14th at the KC Stadium as Hull meet Everton, with the Tigers looking to beat the Toffees for the first time since 20 December 1952. These boys have already met once this season, in the Carling Cup, as Everton handed out a 4-0 spanking to a weakened Hull outfit.

1853: Milos Krasic has had a stunning game in Moscow tonight and he deservedly puts CSKA ahead against Wolfsburg with a majestic 30-yarder that flies past Diego Benaglio and into the far corner. Glorious.

From JamieCutteridge on Twitter: "Come on Stevo, admit it, tonight's line-up is Jordan compared to last night's Sam Fox isn't it?"

From Paul in Gatley, via text on 81111: "Where've you been? We've been waiting here an hour watching Edin Dzeko, one of the best strikers in Europe."

1844: There will be plenty of worse games than CSKA-Wolfsburg tonight, that's for sure. They've both played some wonderful stuff so far in Russia and the hosts have easily deserved the leveller Tomas Necid has just handed them to make it 1-1. Milos Krasic and Alan Dzagoyev have been magnificent for the Moscow team.

1842: A little bit like English football at times, we've got some technical problems tonight. I'm assured that people are trying their hardest to fix them, but if you haven't been affected thus far, then let's carry on as normal.

1840: So Juventus, Wolfsburg, Real Madrid and AC Milan can all reach the last 16 tonight. German champions Wolfsburg only need a point at CSKA Moscow and in the match that kicked-off at 1730 GMT, they are currently 1-0 up in Russia thanks to Edin Dzeko's first-half strike.

1837: I'm sure you know as well as I do how to have your say on proceedings: Get the tweets in; you can join the debate on 606; and get smashing those texts over to 81111. If I told you it would help England's until now disastrous 2018 World Cup bid if you did, would you then?

1833: Oh come on, I was only playing. Anyway, apart from six other Champions League games tonight, there are also two in the Premier League as Hull City entertain Everton and Fulham take on Blackburn.

1830:Manchester United and Chelsea might have already booked their berths in the last 16 of the Champions League, but they still have important business to attend to in the group stage. Finish top, and you meet a second-placed team in the first knockout round, with the second leg at home. Exciting, isn't it?
