Rushen United thrashed Gymnasium 5-0 at Croit Lowey on Saturday to move level on points with Peel at the top of the Isle of Man Premier League.
Goals from Tom Craine, Steve Riding and Aaron Hawley gave the southerners a 3-0 lead at half-time.
Chris Shimmin and Josh Kelly added second-half strikes to leave Rushen second on goal difference.
Laxey also enjoyed a 5-0 home win against promoted side St John's at Glen Road.
John Callow netted a hat-trick as the Miners moved fourth.
Meanwhile, Michael won their first points of the season with a 3-1 victory over Union Mills at Balleira Road.
Elsewhere, Old Boys beat St Georges 4-2 at Blackberry Lane and Castletown drew 1-1 with Ramsey despite finishing the match with nine players.
