Controversial former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has spoken to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger about possibly training with the north London club.
The 35-year-old signed a lucrative five-year deal with Notts County but walked out on the League Two club last month after playing just one match.
Campbell, who quit Spurs to join rivals Arsenal, is still contracted to County and said: "People have to sign papers.
"Hopefully we can get a couple of the fitness guys to help me train."
Under existing Fifa laws, Campbell is not eligible to play for another club until January, but he hopes steps might be taken to allow him to continue his career before that.
