Scunthorpe will play Luton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley after victory over Rotherham in the Northern area final second leg.

Striker Gary Hooper latched on to a through-ball from Andrew Wright before finishing coolly for the only goal.

Hooper also a close-range shot blocked and Garry Thompson saw his effort from the rebound deflected over.

Rotherham's best chance fell to Reuben Reid, whose header was tipped onto the bar by Iron goalkeeper Joe Murphy.
