The Isle of Man Under-18 side defeated reigning champions Suffolk 2-1 on Saturday to reach the semi-finals of the English FA County Youth Cup.

Goals from Josh Kelly and Jack McVeigh cancelled out an earlier strike from the hosts and sealed a memorable win for Kevin Manning's young side.

Manning was full of praise for his team: "I think the English Counties are waking up to us know and rightly so.

"We've been working very hard and the results are showing on the pitch."

In the semi-final the Island will face the winner of the Durham v Kent quarter-final tie.
