The cold weather, with below-freezing temperatures across the country, has caused several of Saturday's games to be postponed because of frozen pitches.
Four FA Cup ties - Birmingham v Wolves, Cheltenham v Doncaster, Histon v Swansea and Leyton Orient v Sheffield United have all been called off.
Twelve other games in Leagues One and Two and the Blue Square Premier have fallen victim to the weather.
Meanwhile, eight Scottish League games were also called off.
The Welsh Premier League was also badly affected.
However, Forest Green Rovers' FA Cup game with Derby is on after it passed a morning pitch inspection.
