Peel are now favourites for the Sure Mobile Premier League after a 6-2 win against St. Mary's at the weekend.
Kerron Christian and Neil Birchenough both scored twice in the first half to give Peel a comfortable lead.
Further goals from Juan Killip and Callum Gallagher came after the break to secure the thrashing.
For St. Mary's, Steven and Mark Priestnal pulled goals back in the last 18 minutes but it was too little too late for the hosts.
There was more drama at Blackberry Lane when St Georges lost 2-1 to Old Boys.
The win was courtesy of second half goals from Callum and Craig Stewart.
Rushen moved closer to Railway Cup qualification with a 4-2 win at Michael and Union Mills returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win at home to Laxey.
