Mark Marshall scored the winning spot-kick as Swindon beat Aldershot 7-6 in a tense penalty shoot-out.
During normal time Swindon went ahead thanks to Simon Cox's close-range effort, before Rob Elvins equalised just before half-time for the visitors.
Soon after the restart Scott Davies' penalty put Aldershot ahead after Jerel Ifil was brought down by Danny Hylton.
But Ifil smashed in the equaliser and when Junior Osbourne missed the 12th penalty, Marshall held his nerve.
