Holders Dereham Town were knocked out by Sheringham in the semi-finals |
Giant-killers Sheringham take on north Norfolk rivals Wroxham in the Norfolk Senior Cup final on Tuesday. Sheringham, who play in the Anglian Combination Premier Division, have exceeded expectations in reaching this year's final at Carrow Road.
In the semi-final the Shannocks knocked out the current holders Dereham Town.
In comparison, Wroxham are appearing in their fifth Senior Cup final since 2000 and will be looking to bounce back from last year's defeat to Dereham.
Norfolk Football Association chief executive Shaun Turner said: "Reaching a County Cup Final is a fantastic achievement, but reaching the final is now only the beginning.
"Each finalist will no doubt be doing all they can to ensure their club lifts the prestigious silverware up for grabs.
"Our County Cup finals reflect what the FA Cup final means to professional players.
"They are showcase competitions and everybody involved should be proud of their achievements in reaching the finals.
"I would like to wish everybody involved the very best of luck when the big day arrives."
