A Star Trophy win caps off the Under-15s' best ever season |
Jersey's under 15's beat Guernsey 2-1 to win the Star trophy and cap off one of their greatest ever seasons. Guernsey took the lead against the run of play on 13 minutes when Jacques Ogier scored from 15 yards.
But Jake Baker, who has just signed schoolboy forms with Premier League side Portsmouth, equalised in the third minute of first half stoppage time.
Kamen Nafkha capped a great spell for the island side when he got the winner less than a minute after the re-start.
Jersey also made the quarter finals of the English Schools Trophy this season and, elsewhere, Jersey's Primary Schools side beat Guernsey 5-0, with Jonathan Glendenning scoring a hat-trick.
