Scottish are on course to repeat their 2006 Le Riche Cup win |
Island champions Jersey Scottish are in the Le Riche Cup final after a 2-0 win over second division St Ouen. Youngsters Jack Boyle and Michael Weir scored in either half to set up a mouth-watering final against league leaders St Paul's.
Boyle got the first after 21 minutes from a free-kick which was controversially taken three times.
Former Southampton youth player Weir got the second with 24 minutes left as he deflected a Boyle shot into the net.
But Boyle may miss the final after he was sent off near the end after aiming a punch at St Ouen's substitute Jon Evans.
Scottish last won the Cup in 2006 and the omens look good for another win. They have won the Le Riche every other year since 2002.
