 Jersey recently beat Northern Ireland's Under-18 side 2-0 |
The Scottish Under-18 team comfortably beat Jersey 4-0 at Springfield Stadium, in front of just 100 spectators. The island side trailed at the interval by a single own goal when Liam Corr's cross was deflected in by Jersey centre back Kevin Crowell.
Jonathan Boyle's side-footed volley five minutes into the second half gave the visitors a 2-0 lead.
Further goals from Steven Saunders and Martin O'Neill then took them to a comfortable 4-0 victory.
Scottish manager David Young was impressed by the island team's performance and said he would like to make the visit a regular fixture before their Centenary Shield matches.
"It's almost perfect for us in terms of preparation for the Centenary Shield," he told BBC Radio Jersey. "It's been a fantastic occasion."
