Nicky Forster hit two goals as Brighton swept past Cheltenham and into the southern area semi-finals of this season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy. David Martot scored the opener with a low shot and then set up Forster to head Brighton's second.
Paul Connor pulled one back with a good finish in first half injury-time and then hit the post in the 85th minute.
Just sixty seconds later Forster made it 3-1 from Dean Cox's pass before Bas Savage hit the fourth from six yards.
