Grimsby 2-2 Doncaster
Grimsby win 5-4 on penalties

Grimsby reached the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern area semi-finals after beating Doncaster 5-4 on penalties.

Grimsby keeper Phil Barnes saved Paul Green's penalty and Paul Bolland's retaken spot-kick - his initial effort was saved - gave the Mariners the win.

Danny Boshell's finish gave Grimsby an early lead, before Lewis Guy equalised.

A bizarre own goal from Matt Mills - strong winds blew the ball into the net - saw Grimsby regain their lead, before Paul Heffernan's penalty made it 2-2.
