MK Dons cruised past injury-hit Bournemouth to reach the Johnstone's Paint Trophy southern area semi-finals. Bournemouth had the worst possible start when Shaun Cooper's clumsy lunge on Jemal Johnson allowed Keith Andrews to score with an emphatic penalty.
Soon afterwards Danny Swales' acrobatic finish deflected off the hapless Cooper and past Cherries goalkeeper Neil Moss.
Just before the interval Moss was stretchered off, needing stitches after Mark Wright caught him in the face.
