Deadline-day signing Lee Bradbury scored twice in the first 10 minutes to hand Bournemouth victory over Walsall in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Bradbury headed the opener from Jo Kuffour's cross after three minutes.
Bradbury's second came five minutes later when he volleyed past keeper Clayton Ince after his foot met with Mark-Alain Gradel's cross.
Ince twice denied Darren Anderton, kept out another shot from Bradbury and also saved from Kuffour and Josh Gowling.
