West Brom boss Tony Mowbray praised striker Ishmael Miller after he scored the first senior goal of his career as visiting Preston were beaten 2-0. Mowbray said: "I knew he was capable of producing something like that.
"We knew what Ishmael's attributes were before we signed him - and one of those is brutality, if that is the right word to use.
"He has got size, strength, a burst of pace and he came up with a clinical finish as well."
