Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross felt his side showed their determination and character in coming from behind to win 2-1 against Charlton. Shawcross said: "We have started the season very well after a win against Cardiff and now this victory.
"We are flying the moment with two wins out of two and we are playing with a lot of character and determination.
"Jody Craddock signed for us on Friday without training with us just came into the side and was brilliant for us."
