Chris Llewellyn's 65th minute strike made sure of Wrexham's passage into the LDV Vans Trophy final in Cardiff.

Llewellyn combined with strike partner Juan Ugarte to fire home from 18 yards and set up a date with Southend at the Millennium Stadium on 10 April.

Wrexham should have killed off the tie in the first half, but Dennis Lawrence and Darren Ferguson wasted chances.

Oldham's Guy Branston was denied by a fine save before being sent off on the hour after a clash with Carlos Edwards.
