Football Association chairman Geoff Thompson has been re-elected to serve another four-year term on Uefa's executive committee. He won 46 votes out of a possible 52, second to Marios Lefkaritis' 47.
Thompson has doubled his support since first being elected and he said: "This is tremendous and reflects the standing of English football throughout Europe."
FA chief executive Mark Palios said: "It ensures English football remains at the forefront of Uefa decision-making."
