Gascoigne sets sights on US
Paul Gascoigne
Gascoigne is available on a free transfer
Paul Gascoigne is discussing a move to America with Major League Soccer side DC United, according to the Washington Post.

The newspaper claims that representatives of the 35-year-old have contacted the MLS outfit, although it reports that no deal is imminent.

The coach of DC United, Ray Hudson, tried to sign Gascoigne when he was in charge of the now defunct Miami Fusion.

And Gascoigne may be keen of a move to the MLS after leaving English Division One side Burnley who he joined towards the end of last season.

The former England midfielder would be available on a free tarnsfer.
