Kettering missed a penalty as they shared four goals and two red cards with Ebbsfleet.
David Bridges gave Kettering the lead from close range but Calum Willock equalised from the spot after he was fouled by red-carded Nathan Koo-Boothe.
Jamie Darvill fired into the top corner for the Fleet but Josh Dawkin volleyed home a leveller.
Bridges could have won it but fired his penalty wide after Yado Mambo was sent off for fouling Marcus Kelly.

Kettering Town manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Northampton:
We could have had five - Stimson
"What we've gone through in the last couple of games proves anything can happen now with the referees so we just get on with it.
"We are taking so much on the chin at the moment but we have to stand up and be ready for the next game.
"At half time we re-grouped and in the second half we could have easily got four or five goals."
Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent:
Fleet were out of character - Daish
"I didn't think we started well. We weren't right all day for some reason, collectively. We played individually and that's not us.
"We went back to our old ways today. At 2-1 I was never confident. We got back into the game more because of their bad play than our good play. I'm not kidding myself, we didn't play well, we nearly lost it.
"It was not a good performance by the standards we've set."
