Carlton began his career at Morecambe
Morecambe striker Danny Carlton has signed a new deal at the club.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Shrimps in February on a deal to the end of the season, is in his second spell at the club where he started his career.
The former Carlisle and Bury man told the club website: "It's a great move for me. Everyone knows how much I love this club and the supporters.
"I was very grateful to [manager] Jim Bentley for giving me a chance at the end of last season."
Carlton was out of contract when he rejoined Morecambe in February, having had his contract terminated by Bury in January.
