AFC Telford United look to be out of the race for an automatic promotion spot in the Blue Square bet North after a 1-0 home defeat by Boston United.
The visitors took the lead through centre-back Shaun Pearson in the first half after a well-worked set piece.
From that point a solid defensive display kept Telford at bay.
The Bucks created little in a fixture that may be repeated in the play-offs - Boston having now closed the gap to Andy Sinton's side to three points.
Telford remain second, eight points behind leaders Alfreton.
Telford manager Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It's not all doom and gloom, but I would say the play-offs are almost definitely the route we're going to have to take."
