Matthews first played for Goonhavern Girls FC aged 10.

Cornish teenager Jasmine Matthews has been called up for the England under-17 girls training camp in Maidenhead later this month.

Matthews, from Redruth, was selected following a successful stint with the England under-15s squad.

The four-day training camp, which runs from May 24-28, will cover all aspects of football from attacking and defending to healthy eating.

Matthews has previously played for Truro City Girls and Goonharvern Girls.
