Lydia Greenway led the way with the bat as England women kicked off their tour of India with a comprehensive win over a Board President's XI in Bangalore. Sarah Taylor got England going with a brisk 52 before Greenway fired 81 to lead them to 273-9 from their 50 overs. Charlotte Edwards (3-14) and Laura Marsh (2-20) then helped bowl out the hosts for 132 to seal a 141-run win. England are looking to build on a 2009 when they won the World Cup, World Twenty20 Cup and retained the Ashes. They face five one-day internationals and three Twenty20 matches against India, starting with the opening game on Friday, 19 February.
