Windies stars named for $5m match

West Indies batsmen Ramnaresh Sarwan and Chris Gayle are in a 20-man squad to play a $5m (�3.9m) one-off Twenty20 match against South Africa in November.

The Stanford Super Stars team comprises players who stood out in the Caribbean tournament, won by Sarwan's Guyana.

There are 13 West Indies players in the squad, including bowlers Jerome Taylor, Mervyn Dillon and Pedro Collins.

Nevis all-rounder Tonito Willet was included after his 84 against St Kitts was the highest of the tournament.

The squad was chosen by a group of West Indies legends, including Sir Viv Richards and Sir Garfield Sobers.

South Africa may have to hop between India, where the ICC Champions Trophy concludes on 5 November, Antigua and Johannesburg, where they start a series against India on 19 November, for the one-off game.
