Murali ruled out of one-day games
Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan celebrates taking his 700th Test wicket in July against Bangladesh
Muralitharan has taken 700 Test wickets for Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan will not be risked in the remaining two one-day games against England as he is still struggling with a biceps injury.

Muralitharan's manager Kushil Gunasekera said: "He has just started to bowl and is testing his injury out.

"He wants to be sure before he makes a decision to play and the one-day games against England are out, but he is targeting November's Australia tour."

England lead the best-of-five match series 2-1 with two games remaining.

Sri Lanka then head off to Australia for a two-Test series before returning home for three Tests against England in December.

Captain Mahela Jayawardene has also stressed that he would rather have his star bowler back for the longer form of the game.

"He's very important in the five Test matches we've got ahead of us," Jayawardene said.

"Once we get back to Colombo we'll see how he is, but we're not going to rush him."
