Mahela Jayawardene will hope for easy runs in Bangladesh |
Mahela Jayawardene will captain Sri Lanka on the tour of Bangladesh with regular skipper Marvan Atapattu and deputy Chaminda Vaas both resting. Wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara will be vice-captain for the three-week tour which starts on Monday with the first of three one-day internationals.
Muttiah Muralitharan will not play in the one-dayers but will feature in the two Tests, said Sri Lanka Cricket.
It's the other way round for Sanath Jayasuriya - who only plays ODIs.
