South Africa Test call for Morkel
Morne Morkel
Morkel took four wickets in the win over New Zealand on Wednesday
South African paceman Morne Morkel has been rewarded for his fabulous World Twenty20 form with a call-up to the Test side to tour Pakistan next month.

The 22-year-old has been the Proteas' best bowler in the tournament, taking eight wickets in four matches.

Morkel played in one Test against India last season as an injury replacement for Dale Steyn.

And he joins fellow fast bowlers Andre Nel, Steyn, Makhaya Ntini and Shaun Pollock for the two-match series.

The only uncapped player in the 14-man touring party is left-handed batsman Jean-Paul Duminy.
