Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik hit an unbeaten 48 from 58 balls
Pakistan warmed up for their one-day and Test series against Australia with a draw in the three-day tour match against Kent at Canterbury.
Pakistan resumed 101 ahead at 86-1 and added 178 in 45 overs before declaring on 264-4 to set Kent a target of 466.
Left-handed opener Umar Amin struck 73 and teenager Mohammad Aamer made 44 not out from 49 balls featuring four sixes.
In reply Joe Denly hit four sixes in his 69 from 57 balls, and Shoaib Malik took 2-17 as Kent closed on 150-3.
The tourists play a Twenty20 match against Essex at Chelmsford on Friday evening before a T20 match against the Australians at Edgbaston on Tuesday and the first Test against Ricky Ponting's side at Lord's a week later.
They enjoyed the excellent batting conditions at the St Lawrence Ground, leaving it well into the final afternoon before making their declaration.
Amin and fellow left-hander Fawad Alam shared an enterprising 141 for the second-wicket, which ended shortly before lunch when Amin pulled a Mark Lawson top-spinner and got a top-edge to mid-wicket.
Alam retired out during the interval to give other players batting practice but Kamran Akmal made only two before he edged to slip.
Malik and 18-year-old Aamer, who took five wickets in the first innings, added an unbroken 85 in 12.3 overs before acting skipper Salman Butt declared following successive sixes from the left-handed Aamer.
Kent had 28 overs at the crease and Denly and Chris Piesley recorded the county's maiden century stand for the first-wicket stand this season, but both fell to rash shots in the final half-hour.
Denly swept across a quicker ball from Abdur Rehman to go leg before, while 18-year-old left-hander Piesley nicked behind off spinner Malik seven short of a maiden first-class fifty.
Alex Blake, another left-hander, hit four fours in his 28 but charged down the wicket in Malik's next over and was stumped, before the sides shook hands on a draw at the completion of the following over.
The concern for Pakistan has been the fitness of skipper Shahid Afridi, who was dismissed for a duck on the first day and was reduced to a virtual spectator for the remainder of the match because of a side injury.
Pakistan coach Waqar Younis moved to play down the injury, however, saying: "Our physiotherapist has just arrived back from London with Shahid Afridi and the scan showed a small muscle rupture in his side.
"He has been asked to rest for two days and have some treatment, then we will re-asses things, but we're hopeful he will be fine."
